Starting today, the wallet will issue a warning and prevent you from sending funds to a non-Starknet address, keeping your funds safe.
👉 Why This Update?
We're all about giving you the freedom to do your thing. But after insightful discussions with the Braavos core community, we decided to add this prevention mechanism. It's like a double-check so you don't lose your money by accident. This feature is especially useful to prevent unintentional fund loss, like when sending directly to an ETH address without using a bridge.
👀 What Was Before?
Until the release of v3.23.0, we had a pop-up warning to inform you when you were making a risky transaction. But we acknowledge that a warning alone isn't enough.
🚀 How Does It Work Now?
In this new version, v3.23.0, we've integrated both a warning and a blocking mechanism. Enter a non-Starknet address, and you'll get two alerts keeping you on the safe side.
📲 Availability
The new version is now available on Chrome and will be rolling out on other platforms shortly.
